Veteran-owned · Ohio business · For university departments
Accessible PDFs, Office files and forms, without pulling your staff off their work
We take the documents your department already posts and return them remediated to WCAG 2.1 AA / PDF/UA with automated and manual checks, with a report for every file.
The date on the calendar
The U.S. Department of Justice's ADA Title II rule for web content and documents names WCAG 2.1 Level AA as the technical standard. For larger public entities, including Ohio's public universities, the compliance date is April 26, 2027 (per the DOJ's 2026 interim final rule; check your university's own guidance for its internal dates). Forms and documents that people still use need attention. Steady progress now beats a rush in spring.
What we do
-
PDF remediation
Tags, true headings, lists, data tables with headers, reading order, alt text, document title and language, and bookmarks. Scanned pages get real OCR text.
-
Fillable forms
Every field gets a descriptive label, a logical tab order and required-field cues. Image-only forms can be rebuilt as true fillable forms.
-
Word and PowerPoint
We fix the source file (styles, alt text, tables, slide titles and reading order) so future PDF exports start out accessible.
-
Readiness Report
An inventory of the documents linked from your pages: an automated scan of every file, a manual sample check, a prioritized fix list and a fixed quote.
-
“Keep It Accessible” plan
A monthly plan: new and updated files are fixed within two business days, and your pages are rescanned on a regular schedule.
How it works
- Send links or files. Tell us which files are forms. Public documents only; please don't send student records.
- See a free sample. Up to 10 pages or one form, with a before-and-after check report, in about 3 business days.
- Get a fixed quote. Pages, forms, price and dates up front. PO, P-card or supplier invoice.
- We remediate and check. veraPDF (PDF/UA) and Adobe Acrobat checks, plus manual review and a screen-reader spot check.
- You post the files. Same file names, a per-file report, and a 30-day touch-up on our work.

Good to know
Our work is remediated to WCAG 2.1 AA / PDF/UA with automated and manual checks. Automated tools catch only part of accessibility problems, which is why every file also gets a manual review. This site is not legal advice, and we don't guarantee legal compliance or any particular outcome.
